Our Genmaicha comes from Kyoto, Japan where the honest people have been growing teas from the 13th Century. In the process of crafting this umami-laced Genmaicha, a selection of tea leaves appropriate for Matcha are carefully ground and blended with premium Japanese brown rice. The result is a nuanced, roasted flavour delicately balanced by the sweetness of Matcha and savouriness of brown rice.
