  • Mexico Finca Guadalupe Zaju

Finca Guadalupe Zaju, occupying 310 hectares in Chiapas, Mexico, is a testament to resilience and dedication. Situated on the renowned 'Ruta de Cafe,' the farm's rich history traces back to the Soconusco region's inception by Porfirio Díaz and Otto von Bismarck. Passed down through generations, the Luethje family managed the farm until it was purchased by Teddy Esteve in 2004. Teddy's commitment to quality saw the amalgamation of neighboring farms La Gloria and Chanjul under the Guadalupe Zaju name. A focus on expanding coffee-growing areas with resistant varietals, such as Marsellesa and Hybrids, drives excellence. Meticulous practices, including selective tree pruning and regulated fermentation, contribute to the farm's high yields. Sustainability remains paramount, with shade management and water conservation strategies in place. Teddy's mission to combine expertise with passion has led to Guadalupe Zaju's reputation as a producer of exceptional coffee with a commitment to environmental responsibility.
